I was at this show .. and what a 'SHOW' it was !!! During the first song, Wilson was sorta' introducing himself to the crowd by shaking hands with the folks in the first and second row ( standing room only ) and offering the microphone to anyone who wanted to 'join in' with the singing. When he got to me.. I seized the opportunity ( and the mic. ) and belted out a few words of 'Midnight Hour'. Pickett made a face like he was totally surprised, then he smiled broadly and flashed me a 'thumbs up'. -- -- -- That's right friends. I sang a tune with the late great, the one and only Prince of Soul Music' .. Wilson 'Wicked' Pickett !!! Sweet Southern Soul from "Wicked" Pickett. - Mr. Pickett tells the audience that despite the fact that it is 1980, "This is soul, not disco.

Durante la primera canción, Wilson se presentó a sí mismo a la multitud estrechando la mano de la gente en la primera y segunda fila (solo para estar de pie) y ofreciendo el micrófono a cualquiera que quisiera 'unirse' al canto. Cuando llegó a mí... aproveché la oportunidad (y el micrófono) y canté algunas palabras de 'Midnight Hour'. Pickett hizo una mueca como si estuviera totalmente sorprendido, luego sonrió ampliamente y me mostró un 'pulgar hacia arriba'. -- -- -- Así es amigos. Canté una canción con el difunto gran, el único Príncipe de la música soul'... ¡Wilson 'Wicked' Pickett!
